Folk Inn

My husband had booked another hotel down the road. When we got there I decided I was NOT going to stay there. I looked online and found this hotel. We stayed last night for just a little more than the other hotel. The staff was very nice. The room was very nice and clean. Our only complaint was there are no room darkening curtains to keep out the light from the parking lot next door, but it wasn't bad. It is so close to the air port I thought we would be hearing the plains all night, but nothing. Out was a very quiet place.

Great customer service. Great location because it's close to everything like the airport and freeway. It's also got the conversation center around the block. They gave us a great rate for an amazing room. They are trucker friendly and let us park our rig close to our room. They serve a hot breakfast which is becoming hard to find. I would have given 5 stars if they had smoking rooms. I would come back here.

Safe, secure, and clean. Staff is friendly and polite, and tries to resolve any issues/needs quickly. There's plenty of parking, and the rooms are furnished with a microwave, fridge, coffee,blow dryer and a sofa bed. Its convenient, right down the street from gas stations, grocery shopping, and plenty food spots to choose from. I spent a very pleasant weekend here, and recommend this cozy hotel.

The rooms are very large so there is a 8 ft couch in the room, water is hot in the shower and plentyfull the staff is superb and very helpful. If you want to stay s extra day when they come around to ask if your staying or leaving you can just pay at your door you don't have to go to the front desk. If your staying maid service will come to your door with clean towels and toilet paper and pick up the trash everyone is extremely friendly. Bed is very comfortable as is the couch if you have a slight argument with your better half...

If I could leave 10 stars I would. The staff at this hotel was kind enough to allow us to check out at a later time being sympathetic to our prior situation and having to check in at their hotel around 3:00 a.m. She was kind and patient. The rooms are big and cozy and clean and best part super quiet. It has been a long time since I have stayed at a hotel that isn’t noisy. Thank you for your great hospitality and providing kind staff and clean rooms!

I was so happy to get a room here! Everything else near the convention center was sold out and this place just had 3 rooms left. The first room I was given was disappointing for several reasons but mainly because the ac wasn't working. When I asked for a fan I was immediately moved to a much nicer room. This hotel looks like it was incredible in its early years but now is worn and tired. However, with a little work this hotel could become a 4-5 star hotel. The carpet in the hallway, the art prints on the walls, the lobby, all speak of a beautiful hotel in the past. I hope the owners will put in the necessary maintenance and elbow grease to get it back to its former glory.

The room was clean but items were in poor state. The blow dryer was broken, there was a bag wrapped around the smoke detector from the previous guests, and the phone was broken and unconnected. But the staff was friendly enough and the bed was comfortable.

My family had missed our flight home and were stranded at the airport. All the shuttles had stopped running. We called Folk inn in a desperate attempt to get a room. And they not only gave us a room but also sent out a shuttle to pick us up from the airport and once we arrived Moises helped us get a shuttle for the morning so we wouldn't miss our flight again. The other staff we bumped into was also very nice! There's ice water in the lobby and rooms are very clean and cozy. They had a microwave and mini fridge. Overall the whole experience there was amazing. The staff definitely went above and beyond to help us.
